Rachelle Rocky Priest

A native San Diegan, Rocky has quite a bit of traveling in her passport. Her love for animals started at an early age with horses and livestock. She participated in local 4-H where her desire to be in veterinary medicine was kindled. She began working with animals in 2003 and has never looked back. She has attended Palomar College and is currently working on obtaining her RVT license. She has moved around a bit with the military, having worked in Arkansas and Texas. She has finally settled back home in San Diego with her husband and 3 year-old son, Moxxon. She loves spending time with her family and spending time on the softball field playing and umpiring all over southern California. She also is involved with the local rodeo.  Rocky takes Blue, her little brindle pit bull, everywhere with her. She has worked with specialists, emergency hospitals, holistic practices, but fell in love with private practice and the relationship with clients and their pets. She enjoys watching her patients grow and being a part of what keeps them and their owner's healthy and happy. Getting her RVT license and continuing to be part of veterinary healthcare for a very long time keeps Rocky motivated. She is extremely happy to have found a home here at MVPC and we are excited to have her on our team!
