Dr. Frank is a New Jersey native and Mississippi State veterinary graduate who has participated in South African wildlife conservation, and now enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, a tuxedo cat, and a rescued pit bull mix.

Dr. Erica Johnson is a San Diego native and Western University veterinary graduate with broad experience in general practice and urgent care, who advocates for rescue animals and lives with her husband, toddler, rescue pit bull Kona, and often fosters kittens.

Dr. Klinger is a 1994 Ohio State veterinary graduate who moved to San Diego in 2000 and joined Mission Valley in 2006, where she enjoys performing surgery, and she shares her home with her husband and three rescue cats.

Dr. Herrera is a veterinarian and UCLA graduate who completed her DVM at Ross University/Colorado State, recently moved to San Diego after getting married, and enjoys hiking and traveling while planning to add a dog to her family.

Melanie is a native San Diegan and UC San Diego graduate who has served as the Head Registered Veterinary Technician and manager at Mission Valley Pet Clinic since 1998, specializing in dentistry and nutrition, and shares her home with a turtle, cat, and Australian Shepherd mix.

Melissa, born in Alaska and raised in Kansas, joined MVPC in 2017. After graduating from Mesa College's Veterinary Technology Program in 2021, she became Lead RVT and Dental Technician. She loves client education, soccer, and relaxing with her cats, Cash and Holly.

Janine is a native San Diegan and Registered Veterinary Technician who joined MVPC in 2024 with 19 years of experience, and enjoys meeting new puppies and kittens while sharing her home with two cats, Dasher and Charlotte.

Cassandra, a San Diego native, is studying veterinary technology at Mesa College to become an RVT. She shares her home with two dogs, two cats, and a ball python. She loves working with MVPC's dedicated team and enjoys cooking, weightlifting, and caring for her plants.

Diana, a San Diego native, joined MVPC in 2019 as a kennel tech and is now a trusted Veterinary Assistant. Known as the clinic's sweetheart, she's kind, dedicated, and eager to learn. She plans to attend Veterinary Technology School to earn her RVT license.

Amber, a San Diego native, joined MVPC in 2020 after earning her Zoology degree from SDSU. Known for her quick thinking and compassion, she's heading to St. George Veterinary School in 2025. She enjoys crocheting, concerts, family time, and caring for her cats, Sparkle and Boots.
